Solar Project Developer in Minnesota
Jan Hubbard has
extensive experience in the solar construction and electronic
manufacturing industries in business development, solar design,
project management, strategic relations, and sales management roles.
He is currently the principal and owner of Natural Energy Solutions,
LLC., a solar energy project development, estimating, solar design,
and project management consulting firm in Minnesota. Mr. Hubbard has
more than ten years of experience in the solar industry during which
time he has designed, developed, and managed many solar photovoltaic
and energy storage system projects from 80 watts to 1.5 megawatts.
He is also the
corporate Treasurer and founding executive board member of the
Minnesota Solar Energy Industries Association (MnSEIA), the Minnesota
solar energy trade association. Formerly, he was the Business
Development Director for Rural Renewable Energy Alliance, the General
Manager for Innovative Power Systems, the Vice President of
Commercial Development at Allied Energy Innovations, all of whom are
solar installation and solar project development firms. Formerly, he
was the International Sales Manager, Strategic Relations Manager, and
held several other significant business roles for Multi-Tech Systems.
Mr. Hubbard has a
Master of Business Administration degree from St. Cloud State
University, a Master of Business Communications graduate certificate
in public relations from the University of St. Thomas, a Bachelor’s
of Science degree in economics and business from the University of
Minnesota, and electronics diploma from Anoka Technical College. He
is also a graduate of St. Paul College solar PV Technical Sales
program, has earned a NABCEP PV certificate of knowledge, and he is a
NABCEP Certified PV Technical Sales Professional.
